My MMXIII AD in pics

Here's my MMXIII (2013) AD in pictures. Good memories. The highlight from the year was a trip to America with dad. We visited New York to visit some churches to be inspired. And than we took a roadtrip to Washington DC and than to uncle and aunt outside Montreal. After a week in metropolis it was nice to drive far out in the countrysides, and visit uncle at his cabin in the hills far outside Montreal.

Life in 5 minutes

Wow, one life in 5 minutes! It feels slightly sinister the last part, when the nice person begins to decay. Death is inevitable. We may find it disturbing if we really think about it. We're slowly dying after the mid life crisis.

If you fear death, why not consider Christianity? If it's true, Jesus Christ can give us eternal life:

“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. (John 14:1-3)

Than death even can be a gain(Phil 1:21,23), as tobyMac sings in this song:
"To live is Christ, to die is Gain
We’re not afraid, we’re not afraid"

My music production

I'm trying to learn music production. Tried to get started many years, but has given up many times because of complicated softwares and technical problems. Have been rather more confused than smarter when trying to learn. But a few months I started a facebookpage I obligate myself to publish at least one new work each month, you can like my page here. For this month I at last managed to make this work I proudly can present. More info about the work on the soundcloud page, it's written for this countdown.
Started to get a little easier last week when I bought the new Logic Pro X, I really struggled with the complicated 9-version of the software. And I bought some good tutorials as well.

Here's a instrumental work that makes me glorious. Sounds as being made with very authentic software instruments. I hope I one time will get that good control over studio/instrument-software's to tweak it like this! Awesome mix between symphonic, beats and synth!

spree killers massacred our world

Survivor

Spree killers and massacres got the attention this weekend with the Denver theatre shooting, and the one year anniversary on the Norway massacre and terror attack.
Several guys from my city was either killed or barely survived after dreadful escapes one year ago. The days after the massacre I got to know several of the survivors I met on the public remembrance marking and the churches youth cafe. It makes impression when you hear the bestial , heartbreaking, traumatic eyewitness accounts from people you know. So easy to just dont care when you hear about disasters in the news from distant places, or regarding strangers.

Read some good stuff published related to these events giving some answers. First the powerful blog from a survivor of the Dark Knight theatre shooting, and about the comfort of God in tragedy. The other from the awesome gotquestions.org, questions of the week about meaning in tragedy, and the problem of evil.
