Otherwise we had a fun trip visiting a church, a schoolsupport-program and a missionary, and getting many new awesome friends!

Filipino style! In the Philippines you find happy kids playing in most streets, fantastic! Majority of population is young. Not as in Norway where you never can drive more than 1 minute in the cities before you end up behind old people driving 15 km/h under the speedlimit. (with all respect to the old people)

Filipino Christian's really trust in God. They're filled with the joy and comfort of the Lord, regardless of powerty and hard circumstances. Here with some our new church friends. Best youths and childrens ever!

Got friends with streetkids, cool guys! Interesting to experience real powerty for almost the first time. Before I mainly traveled wealthy tourist places for hedonic pleasure. We must remember to help the poor, specially if we're living in a rich country where you easily could ignore and forget it.

With our church's missionary in the Philippines. She took good care of us a few days, giving us some exotic experiences too with island hopping. Good to see her meaningful work there and meeting getting friends with her staff also. Here visiting the Youth With a Mission base who's all over the world.

Visiting poor neighbourhoods meeting supported children through the schoolprogram. Built on stakes over the shallow sea since they can't afford propertys in the city.

My new 11 year old friend Jonard was even better than me in Chess, genius! And when I was thinking he did often seemed to just think about other things and pause, since he obviously already had made up his mind. Just as Magnus Carlsen here. And I could hardly beat him with constant thinking. :)
Good memories. The highlight from the year was a trip to America with dad. We visited New York to visit some churches to be inspired. And than we took a roadtrip to Washington DC and than to uncle and aunt outside Montreal. After a week in metropolis it was nice to drive far out in the countrysides, and visit uncle at his cabin in the hills far outside Montreal.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05613122894207152764noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34642244.post-63372964111345315002013-10-01T20:16:00.001+02:002013-10-02T15:22:10.436+02:00Life in 5 minutes
Wow, one life in 5 minutes! It feels slightly sinister the last part, when the nice person begins to decay. Death is inevitable. We may find it disturbing if we really think about it. We're slowly dying after the mid life crisis.

If you fear death, why not consider Christianity? If it's true, Jesus Christ can give us eternal life:

“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. (John 14:1-3)

Than death even can be a gain(Phil 1:21,23), as tobyMac sings in this song:
"To live is Christ, to die is Gain
We’re not afraid, we’re not afraid"Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05613122894207152764noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34642244.post-8017053218231287572013-09-24T13:56:00.000+02:002013-09-24T21:51:14.211+02:00My music production
I'm trying to learn music production. Tried to get started many years, but has given up many times because of complicated softwares and technical problems. Have been rather more confused than smarter when trying to learn. But a few months I started a facebookpage I obligate myself to publish at least one new work each month, you can like my page here. For this month I at last managed to make this work I proudly can present. More info about the work on the soundcloud page, it's written for this countdown.
Started to get a little easier last week when I bought the new Logic Pro X, I really struggled with the complicated 9-version of the software. And I bought some good tutorials as well.

Here's a instrumental work that makes me glorious. Sounds as being made with very authentic software instruments. I hope I one time will get that good control over studio/instrument-software's to tweak it like this! Awesome mix between symphonic, beats and synth!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05613122894207152764noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34642244.post-53357685353000952832013-01-08T15:24:00.002+01:002013-01-10T21:30:48.814+01:00my 2012 in photos

I like to play photojournalist and be where it happens. This is what you get if you rather buy real camera, instead of smartphone with Instagram(still have phone with numbers).

Would specially thank my pilot friend Andreas who regularly invites me for a flight!
I was inspired to make my own videohighlights by my photobuddy Julio Cortez awesome 2011 highlights.
Spree killers and massacres got the attention this weekend with the Denver theatre shooting, and the one year anniversary on the Norway massacre and terror attack.
Several guys from my city was either killed or barely survived after dreadful escapes one year ago. The days after the massacre I got to know several of the survivors I met on the public remembrance marking and the churches youth cafe. It makes impression when you hear the bestial , heartbreaking, traumatic eyewitness accounts from people you know. So easy to just dont care when you hear about disasters in the news from distant places, or regarding strangers.

Read some good stuff published related to these events giving some answers. First the powerful blog from a survivor of the Dark Knight theatre shooting, and about the comfort of God in tragedy. The other from the awesome gotquestions.org, questions of the week about meaning in tragedy, and the problem of evil.
Or if you are just sicken bored and exhausted after reading my freak-blog, watch rather this video :)

And here's video from Oslo's public rembrance one year after. A guy I know plays the carillons in the tower:
Pray for the victimes and related after the massacres and terror in Norway and Denver, that they may find comfort in God.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05613122894207152764noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34642244.post-26438302945002309922012-06-05T18:25:00.001+02:002012-06-05T18:25:31.327+02:00Norway-England
It was interesting to experience the Bieber fewer in Oslo. You should almost believe God had become man again. It was quite chaotic where he was. Wanted to get some paparazzi-shots too but he hid all the day except 30 min on the stage, too hard to get. But at least I was on TV(behind the poor girls who got their Bieber-meet canceled)!
Where Bieber was expected to be, it was state of emergency. The police had much to do. You know its too crowdy when you dont get signal on your phone...
Everybody wants to get inside the hotel where Bieber should hold a press conference, instead Bieber escaped the building after the fans had teared down the fence around and got to the door.
If you believe that Christianity is not true, it raises some other hard questions. If Jesus was only a man. Find another explanation for his impossible assignment to convince the world that he was God, if he was not.

If you was Jesus, how would you convince a huge part of the world that you're God? If you claim you're God, people will just think you're mad. If you want to be believed, you have to prove the extraordinary claims. If you do not have all the power in heaven and on earth, thats just a little bit hard to do. Jesus Christ proved to be God by e.g. performing miracles such as healing countless sick people, walking on water, fulfilling prophecies, feeding thousands from a single lunch, calming storm, ascending to heaven, rising from death and so on.

If you shall start a religion, it's much easier doing as the other religion founders: Just claim you're a prophet or that you had some revelations. This was just a random picture on from the M25 freeway outside London. I long time after discovered the typing on the bridge "Give Peas a chance". It's one graffiti artist who goes by the name of PEAS. who added his name on the bridge, and later some others added the full phrase! The bridge has over 5000 fans on facebook too! Click 2 times on the pic to enlarge. Fun when you sometimes discover interesting things afterwords when you look trough pictures.
Fun to make video for Viva la Vida! Got some nice steadicam-shots too. Viva la Vida is a great place to be. Regularly arranged by the youths in my church and our neighbour church with games, entertainment, devotion, DJ, dance, chill etc. And always good mood when my DJ friends plays!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05613122894207152764noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34642244.post-62826745126256467052011-12-08T14:03:00.001+01:002011-12-08T14:06:06.662+01:00Trailer production
We produced this to promote Viva La Vida, with our church filmcrew. And with my homemade rotating crane-rig! It did it with the great Christmas-rock from Trans-siberian orchestra too.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05613122894207152764noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34642244.post-6338193781546814272011-12-05T02:02:00.000+01:002011-12-05T02:02:20.547+01:00Traceurs in Oslo
Me and my brother was in Oslo and filmed some cool guys training parkour! Nice to get to know them, and awesome to see their skills!
And we've got just enough camera-stuff now, that we can make things just the level over home videoes.

And here's some pics from last time I was there.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05613122894207152764noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34642244.post-65216094272706552612011-11-02T21:52:00.004+01:002011-12-06T18:19:19.390+01:00Viva la Vida
Me and my brother produced this for Viva la Vida! It's an almost monthly party in the church for all youths. The same thing we produced trailers for in last blogpost. As you can see it's great atmosphere there and happy peoples. Its great when christian youths work togheter to invite everybody to enjoy a night for free.
We(my church's filmteam) made some trailers for a church event for youths. Since this would happen on another place than usual, we made a trailer of the road between!
This is most often fridaynight party in the church where all the youths in the city are invited, it's popular with over 900 fans on facebook! Watch the bottom video to see what a Viva La Vida-church party night can be like!

Viva Event Trailer 2 from Hamar Frikirke: FilmCrew on Vimeo.
This event was a activityday with climbing, paintball, dodgeball, DJ, Cafe, games etc. So we made a trailer with some friends climbing. Really cool. In both these trailers we used music by the great christian DJ; Andy Hunter, and I recommend to buy this really cool song, in support for children charity too. "Hold on, to the One - hold tight, to the light"!

For this last video, we let the chiefhost, the cool youthleader in the other church we cowork with for these events inform about it. Unfortunately too bad sound because I forgot to switch on the mic on the main camera.

And exclusively on my blog, the draft of one trailer we wouldn't show or publish. We realized that it was too similar to the Utøya massacre. We really had to consider about that, because several youths using to attend this event, was actually at Utøya and survived the massacre.

And some behind the scenes photos:
Me and some friends has started a filmteam in the church. And this is our first project, a little introduction-film to the sermon. Just quite annoying that it is in norwegian, this language we've been cursed by God to speak, after the confusion of tongues in Babel(but thats another theological discussion if languages is a curse or blessing). But the film is about that you can change the world and make a difference.

Recording at last with the main character. For the first scene, after we had driven to the location to film in the city center, we discovered we had forgot the main character at the church campus.
This is parkour/freerunning! I was so fascinated after watching it on youtube that I had to find a group doing it. Really cool to meet the traceurs(parkourpeople), and see their awesome jumps and tricks!
They learned me some foundational techniques, but it wasn't easy. Was a bit disappointed, since it seems to be so easy on youtube! :) I have to try more to see if I have the abilities and patience to learn some foundational parkour.
Another amazing video. This is more freerunning, just like parkour but with more acrobatics. Parkour is more about efficiency than style, the fastest way between two points without unnecessary acrobatics.
Im amazed by HDSLR filming! Then you can get the movie-look with only the main object in focus with blurry background. This is from my parents garden on a rainy day. Its actually in the town, but with just the right angles, zoom and views you can imagine its on the countryside(or a very small town). The city is hidden under the big trees.
Just the right music is important. Here I used James Newton Howard's magic King Kong-soundtrack.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05613122894207152764noreply@blogger.com0
