Painting the ground

Street painters

I met some really cool spanish artists who was here and painted the main square in my city! It was great to meet them and see their amazing work. I've never seen anything like this in Norway, so its nice we got something unique in Hamar!

The beauty of grey and rainy days

Im amazed by HDSLR filming! Then you can get the movie-look with only the main object in focus with blurry background. This is from my parents garden on a rainy day. Its actually in the town, but with just the right angles, zoom and views you can imagine its on the countryside(or a very small town). The city is hidden under the big trees.
Just the right music is important. Here I used James Newton Howard's magic King Kong-soundtrack.

Meeting with massacre survivors

20 000 at memorial
Norway has been the top news in all the world I think last week after the terror attack and massacre. A couple of youths from my city was at Utøya. A guy I almost knew was killed, and I know several of the survivors. It has impacted me too hear their dreadful and traumatic stories. They tell about watching friends being shot, how near they were to be killed, dramatic escapes, maltreated corpses and the ice-cold spree killer listening to music, laughing, smiling and just having fun while he killed them. Its the worst spree killing of all time.
It's good to experience how norwegians care for the related after the tragedy. Pray for the survivors!

Massacre survivor
Jørgen survived after a dramatic escape from Utøya.

My city's fotball team

HamKam is this year in Norways first division. But it seems as they are on the way up to the top league! I was at least impressed after this game.

Goal!

Easy to score when someone is sitting on the keeper, LOL

Goal, and the keeper is totally paralyzed!

Moving to the top tribune for second half.

Nice view from the top tribune.

Exited!

Dirty hook.

You've seen it before...

More photos from the game in my photoalbum.

Dreadful tornado - do you care?

PS: Strong scenes. And CNN-reporter Anderson Cooper brings you the story behind the video. From this you got the impression how scared and traumatized the locals in Joplin are after the dreadful and furious tornado that just hit them. As you hear they desperately shouts to God when the forcible, horrific and dreadful tornado passes with the sound of 100 freight trains. The whole town is wrecked and many killed. It's may not easy to watch the video and listening to the panicked and scared people. But its may necessary to understand the suffering and wake your compassion. Superficial reading of news often makes it more to statistics than personal destinies.

I need a reminder on the worlds sufferings. I feel I live in a bubble in Norway, easy to be so indifferent, forget it and dont care. Even if the most evident suffering is far away for many of us, we can at least follow Jesus Christ who wants us to pray for and give to the poor. Peoples are suffering, wake up from your bubble!
I recommend you to support Joplin through Samaritan's Purse!

But even how dangerous and devastating tornadoes are, they're too ave-inspiring, fascinating and migthy!
And CNN has an interesting article about why tornadoes are the most terrifying natural disaster.
